1. Scope and data controller
This policy covers the ortamix.com website, the Ortamix management panel and the Ortamix app for Android, Android TV and Windows. The data controller is Disparco Bilişim Medya ve Teknoloji Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("Disparco"). Details are in the Personal Data Notice (KVKK); cookies are described in the Cookie Policy.
2. In short
- We only collect the data the service needs to work: account, branch, device and play records.
- No ads, no analytics or tracking tools; we do not sell your data.
- The app does not use your location, microphone, camera or contacts.
- Your password is stored as an irreversible hash; only a hash of login tokens is kept.
3. What is collected and why
- Account: name, email, password hash, role and assigned branches. For logging in to the panel and the app, and for password setup and reset emails.
- Business and branch: business name and type, branch name, address, opening hours and time zone. So that the schedule runs at the branch's time and for the license certificate.
- Device: device name, platform, app version, last seen time and playback status (track, volume, cache). So that music plays on the right device, the remote shows what is playing, and for updates.
- Plays and actions: when a track was played, skipped or liked; commands given from a remote and who gave them. For play history, reports, suggestions and calculating payments to rights holders.
- Announcements: the uploaded audio file or the written text. To play the announcement; if text-to-speech is used, the text goes to Google to be voiced.
- Security: IP address and browser information. To protect the session and stop repeated wrong login attempts.
4. The Ortamix app
On Android the app only asks for these permissions: internet, keeping the screen and device awake while playing, playing music in the background with its notification, and starting the music automatically when the device turns on. It does not ask for location, microphone, camera, contacts or general access to your files; when uploading an announcement it only reads the file you choose.
The login token is kept in the device's secure storage. Downloaded tracks are stored encrypted on the device and only the Ortamix app plays them. Uninstalling the app also deletes the cache.
The app downloads new versions from ortamix.com; for this it only asks the server for the current version.
5. Where and how long data is kept
Data is stored on servers of Disparco's hosting provider; traffic passes through Cloudflare. Retention periods and automatically deleted records are in the "Retention" section of the Personal Data Notice.
6. Who it is shared with
Suppliers of hosting, email and traffic delivery (Cloudflare); Google Cloud Text-to-Speech if text-to-speech is used; Disparco Music for calculating payments to rights holders (only tracks and play counts, without business or personal details); the owner of the business that is our customer (limited to their own branches and staff); authorities authorised by law. 7. Your rights
To access your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or use your other rights under KVKK Art. 11, write to [email protected]. How to apply is described in the Personal Data Notice.
8. Deleting your account
The business owner can remove a branch staff member's account in the Team section of the panel. To delete the business account or your own account, write to [email protected] from your registered email address. Play records that must be kept for payments to rights holders and as proof for the license certificate may be kept for the statutory periods.
9. Children
Ortamix is a service for businesses; we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

This policy may be updated; the current text applies from the date it is published on this page. The date of the last update is shown at the end of the page.
